Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly content should not be treated as a fixed list of certification names. Sellers need to define evidence object, label permission, and product-page wording boundary.
Carbon claim boundary
Carbon neutrality, climate neutrality, product carbon footprint, and organizational greenhouse gas accounting are different evidence types. Sellers should identify the claim object, calculation boundary, data year, emissions sources, reduction plan, and verification documents before drafting product-page wording.
BSI’s public materials show that ISO 14068-1:2023 builds on PAS 2060 principles and is becoming the newer direction for carbon neutrality claims.
Organic label boundary
USDA Organic, EU Organic, and GOTS should not be used interchangeably. USDA Organic has different labeling categories with different organic-content and seal-use conditions. EU Organic follows its own EU rules and trade context. GOTS is a textile processing standard for goods made with organic fibres.
Textile certification boundary
Textile evidence must be checked at finished-product level. Supplier certificates, fabric certificates, trim certificates, and finished-goods certificates are not the same evidence layer. Sellers should review SKU scope, material ratio, product class, label authorization, certificate holder, and certificate validity.
Practical next steps
Organize certificates and reports by product, material, facility, and organization. Map each SKU to the document that supports the related page claim. Adjust page wording so limited-scope evidence is not expanded into whole-product, whole-series, or whole-brand claims.
绿色方舟(深圳)认证有限公司 can support CPF pathway assessment, certificate scope review, label wording boundary review, and communication support. Final eligibility, display position, display timing, and ongoing status depend on Amazon and the relevant certification programs’ current rules.
