GRS Global Recycled Standard
GRS is an international certification standard established by Textile Exchange for products with 50%+ recycled content, providing full-chain certification from recycling source to finished product. GRS is one of the most requested labels under Amazon CPF and widely recognized by global buyers.

Certification Requirements
- Recycled content ≥50% (label can show specific percentage)
- Complete Chain of Custody system
- Social and environmental responsibility compliance
- Chemical use meets GRS restricted substances list
Process
- Select a certification body (SGS, BV, Intertek, etc.)
- Submit application and product documentation
- On-site audit including supply chain traceability
- Audit report and certification decision
- Receive GRS certificate and Transaction Certificates (TC)
Cost & Timeline
From ¥25,000/year, audit timeline 4-8 weeks, certificate valid 1 year with annual surveillance audit.
