Carbon Trust labels can be part of a carbon-footprint evidence chain, but they should not be presented as a fixed Amazon CPF outcome.

Label types

Product carbon footprint label: verifies that a brand is measuring and reducing the carbon emissions of a product.

Organisational carbon footprint label: confirms that an organisation has had its carbon footprint and reductions verified.

Assured Model Label: relates to a carbon-footprint calculation model or tool.

Current boundary

Carbon Trust states that from September 2023 it no longer offers carbon neutral verification. Existing historical Carbon Neutral labels should be checked against their verification period and certificate scope.

Greenark Certification (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. can help companies review Carbon Trust label evidence, claim subjects, accounting boundaries, SKU mapping, and public wording boundaries.
