Data checked on 2026-08-08. This article is based on EUR-Lex Directive (EU) 2024/825, European Commission public information on the application date, the Commission FAQ on environmental claims and sustainability labels, EUR-Lex UCPD summary, EU Green Claims resources and Greenark service boundaries. It does not promise regulatory acceptance, platform approval, certification results, sales, ranking, traffic or issuance timing.

The practical question is not whether every environmental word must disappear. Sellers should first map each consumer-facing claim to evidence: packaging labels, hang tags, manuals, Amazon titles and bullet points, A+ images, brand stores, DTC pages, ads and social posts.

For each claim, record the claim text, product or packaging scope, supporting file, version, market, page location and owner. Existing products and old stock also need attention where packaging or labels carry claims that may not fit the new rules. Marketplace certifications or supplier statements can support the evidence map, but they should not automatically expand into broad product-level environmental conclusions.

Greenark (Shenzhen) Certification Co., Ltd. can support green-claim evidence mapping, label and product-page wording review, supplier-file matching and claim-boundary recommendations. This is evidence and workflow support, not an official decision or guaranteed outcome.
