Use A Matrix Before Choosing A Route
A useful CPF review matrix separates product facts, evidence objects, coverage scope, and customer-visible claims. This prevents teams from treating FSC, GOTS, GRS, ENERGY STAR, Carbon Trust, Safer Choice, and Compact by Design as interchangeable names.
Category-Level Review
- Textiles: check fibers, scope certificates, transaction certificates, chemical management, and product coverage.
- Paper and wood: check chain-of-custody scope, claim type, supplier coverage, and finished-product relevance.
- Food, agriculture, and personal care: check organic, farm, formula, ingredient, label, and traceability records.
- Electronics: check model-level energy efficiency, material data, product registration, and market-specific versions.
- Formula products: check ingredients, SDS files, ecological label scope, and claim wording.
- Carbon and climate claims: check footprint boundary, verification, reduction records, and offset documentation.
Words To Remove Or Downgrade
Do not turn a certification name into a promise of Amazon display, review outcome, sales performance, or faster approval. Do not stretch supplier documents across all variants or treat broad words such as green, low-carbon, organic, recyclable, or sustainable as self-supporting claims.
Operating Method
Procurement collects supplier files and batch records. Operations exports all public green wording. The certification consultant maps possible evidence paths. Compliance review rejects unsupported or outcome-assured wording. Keep the decision trace for future platform questions and internal review.
How Greenark Supports The Review
Greenark Certification (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. can help sellers map product evidence, supplier documents, certification scope, SKU records, and customer-visible claim wording before materials are used on Amazon pages or other public channels. The work is evidence-bound and does not include outcome promises.
