EWG Verified: formula and ingredient transparency
EWG Verified focuses on ingredient transparency and health-related criteria. It is most relevant to formula-based products such as personal care, cosmetics, cleaning products, and baby-care products.
GREENGUARD: indoor air and VOC emissions
UL GREENGUARD Certification focuses on chemical emissions from products, especially VOC emissions. Sellers should check whether the certificate covers the material, component, or finished product.
TCO Certified: IT product sustainability
TCO Certified is a sustainability certification for IT products. Its criteria address key areas such as climate, substances, circularity, and supply chain.
EU Ecolabel: EU product-group criteria
EU Ecolabel is the EU-wide voluntary ecolabel. The European Commission sets criteria for different product groups to reduce environmental impact across the product lifecycle.
