An Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly overview should not be written as a broad certification list. Sellers need SKU-level evidence.
Remove result-oriented claims
Do not promise fixed display, fixed timing, commercial outcomes, platform resources, or eligibility results.
Classify by evidence object
Amazon states that Climate Pledge Friendly works with trusted third-party certifications and also includes Amazon-created certifications. Sellers should classify evidence by claim type: material sourcing, product performance, ingredients and health, company or supply chain, and climate claims.
Separate third-party certifications from Amazon-created programs
For third-party certifications, check the certificate holder, product scope, model, material percentage, label grade, and certificate status. For Amazon-created programs, check product data, packaging, dimensions, weight, net content, ingredients, or category applicability.
Build a SKU-level evidence matrix
For each SKU, record the intended product wording, relevant certification or program, supporting files, covered object, and boundary limitations.
Review before publishing
Before publishing a CPF overview, check for certification-result promises, display promises, commercial-outcome claims, fixed timing, fixed project inputs, outdated program names, and evidence-scope expansion.
