Green Seal can support sustainability claims for certain product categories, but it should not be treated as a universal green label.
Green Seal’s standards library covers areas such as cleaning products, sanitary paper products, personal care, paints, coatings, adhesives and related categories. Sellers should first identify the applicable Green Seal standard number and confirm whether the current SKU is covered.
For example, GS-37 covers industrial and institutional cleaning products, while GS-11 covers paints, coatings, stains and sealers. Different product types require different evidence packages.
Greenark (Shenzhen) Certification Co., Ltd. recommends checking:
- Applicable Green Seal standard number.
- Formula, SDS, performance testing, packaging and label documentation.
- Certificate or certified-product listing scope.
- Brand name, GTIN, ASIN and product name consistency for Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly evidence.
- Customer-facing claim wording against the actual standard and supporting documents.
Green Seal is an Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly certification partner, but marketplace page status and continued validity remain subject to Amazon rules and processing.
Greenark (Shenzhen) Certification Co., Ltd. can support Green Seal applicability assessment, evidence organization, claim-boundary review and CPF evidence preparation. Final certification eligibility, marketplace page status and continued validity are subject to Green Seal, Amazon and applicable rules.
