Legacy GOTS articles often mix standard explanations, certification process notes, business assumptions, and Amazon CPF expectations. Before using them for product-page copy, sellers should clean up the claim language and map each statement to evidence.

Update the standard version

GOTS Version 8.0 has been released. Legacy copy should be checked against the certificate, certification body, label grade, Scope Certificate, Transaction Certificate, and current official documents.

Do not write “GOTS cotton”

GOTS official labelling guidance says terms such as “GOTS cotton” and “GOTS-certified organic cotton” are not correct.

Separate SC and TC

A Scope Certificate lists the certified entity’s product categories and certified activities. A Transaction Certificate verifies one or more certified product transactions or batches.

Tie label grades to evidence

GOTS label grades include “Organic” and “Made with x% organic materials”. Page wording should match the certification number, certification body, label grade, product name, and SKU scope.

绿色方舟(深圳)认证有限公司 can assist with CPF direction review, certificate-scope checking, evidence mapping, and claim-boundary wording for GOTS files. Final eligibility, display placement, display timing, and continued validity depend on Amazon and the relevant certification program rules.
